Free
But whenever someone turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away. For the Lord is the Spirit, and wherever the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. So all of us who have had that veil removed can see and reflect the glory of the Lord. And the Lord-who is the Spirit-makes us more and more like Him as we are changed into His glorious image. - 2 Corinthians 3:16-18
How will you exhibit His spirit living within you today? What humanly impossible situations today will the mighty spirit living within you give you the freedom to over come them through Him working within you? Join me as I work on looking like fruit today. The Fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. These are not just ideas of how to be a great Christian, these are evidence of the Spirit living within a believer. I've gotta make these traits my priority for maturing in Christ today!

My little beach memory
So I know it's been a whole month since I've blogged but don't worry, I've had a project that I've been working on. I'm so excited to finally have this piece of furniture finished. Literally every single year of my 22 year old life my family and I have vacationed at my papaw Charlie's beach house in Daytona Beach. Ever since I can remember there has been a white dresser in the beach house garage. Each year Dad would always go to the garage and pull out the beach chairs and sand castle tools stored in there. I would always see this little white dresser sitting in the back. You know those little things you just remember from being little that just enchanted you? Well this dresser caught my eye and I fell in love with it.
On January 5th 2009 my Papaw went home to be with the Lord. Our whole family misses him very much but I personally treasure the many moments spent with him.
I am so thankful to finally have this little dresser in my home because it brings back such sweet memories of being with Papaw.
Mom and Dad helped me bring it home this summer.
It was in pretty rough condition when my parents brought it here...
After scrubbing and scrubbing, sanding, scrubbing more then sanding again and painting,
I have a piece of furniture I am so proud of!
It's so perfect for reading my bible in the morning, writing letters or just playing on the computer.
I just pull over the piano bench as a seat. It's so special to have in my home. :)
